Frequently Asked Questions

Easy Coming Soon is activated, but not live. How can I fix that?

If you notice that the Easy Coming Soon is activated, but not appearing on the front store, here are some actions you can take.

First, make sure that Password protection is unchecked in Online Store > Preferences.

If that doesn’t resolve the issue, the easiest way to check this is to open your site in a separate browser or in incognito mode. Because anyone who is logged on to your store from your development team or admin will be able to access the website to make changes. Everyone else will be able to see Coming Soon.

Lastly, if you still aren’t able to resolve the issue, don’t hesitate to send us an email at support@upify.io.

What image formats for the logo or background can I use?

You can use any image format up to 100 MB size.

How can I change/activate theme?

Click Select Theme from the top menu bar. Choose the favourite template.

How do I enable my customers to bypass Coming Soon with a password?

You can allow select customers (those who know the password) to access your online store while directing all others to your Coming Soon page.

To do this, navigate to the Coming Soon dashboard settings and scroll down the page to locate the Password Settings section (as shown below).

Check the box next to Enable Password Form and then enter the password your customers should use to bypass the Coming Soon page.

How subscribe button works?

After enabling the subscription form, users will be able to drop their emails. All emails will be saved to the customer list and tagged with a Subscribed keyword. Customers will also be subscribed to Email Marketing.

I uninstalled the Easy Coming Soon app, but the page still exists or displays a 404 error. How can I fix that?

In your store admin dashboard of your Shopify account, go to Online Store > Themes.

On your live theme, select Actions > Edit code.

Select theme.liquid file from left menu bar. Delete the line of code, {% include ‘easy-coming-soon’ %}, and click Save.
